Papal Calendar

Due to the Holy Father’s health, the official Papal Calendar is currently only updated a few days in advance, when the Papal liturgy or event has been officially confirmed by the Vatican.

To help you plan your pilgrimage, or office has created a tentative calendar of Papal events which we expect will take place based on the calendar from previous years. Wednesday Audience Tickets may be reserved using this request form. However, please bear in mind that they may be cancelled if the Holy Father’s health prevents him from celebrating a Mass or if he is travelling. Similarly, if the Vatican announces additional Papal liturgies or events which are open to the public, we add them to the calendar below. Our calendar lasted updated on July 5, 2023. We do our best to keep Pilgrims who have requested tickets informed of cancellations.

Tickets are normally required to attend Papal Masses and Audiences. To request tickets for a Wednesday Audience, please contact our office. No tickets are required for the Sunday Angelus, but please consult the official calendar on the Vatican’s website a day or two in advance to ensure that there has not been any last minute changes. There are only 8-10 Papal Masses open to the public each year and are usually on major Feast Days and Solemnities.

Tickets are not required to attend Mass at Saint Peter’s Basilica when the Holy Father is not present for the liturgy.
