Spiritual and Liturgical Life
Each morning community Mass is celebrated at the College. The community also prays Morning and Evening Prayer in common. A weekly schedule, including liturgical events, is provided for students upon arrival.

The text used at Morning and Evening Prayer is the four volume set of The Liturgy of the Hours approved for use in the U.S. and Canada. These volumes should be purchased in North America.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is provided every Monday evening and each mornings before Mass. A priest from outside the house, as well as one of the Spiritual Directors, is available to hear confessions at this time. However, the College has several spiritual directors who make themselves readily available – in practice, it is almost always possible to find an available confessor.

Within the house as well, Eucharistic Adoration is offered daily. There is also a communal rosary offered daily in honor of Our Lady.

Students will have the opportunity to select a spiritual director from one of the in-house priest spiritual directors and are expected to meet with him for spiritual direction every two weeks.

In addition to the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception (main chapel), there is a Blessed Sacrament Chapel, as well as several other places reserved for prayer in the College. Many students gather regularly in small prayer groups for charismatic prayer, the rosary, or the hours of the Divine Office which are not prayed in common, such as Night Prayer.

One quickly learns the spiritual wealth of Rome and the rest of Europe. The tombs of Apostles, saints, and martyrs, along with many Christian sites both ancient and modern, are easily accessible. It is often possible to attend liturgies at St. Peter’s Basilica.
