THINGS TO BRING WITH YOU
- Four Volume Liturgy of the Hours (U.S. and Canada)
- New/extra pair of glasses or contacts
- Italian grammar books, tapes/dictionary
- One or two black suits and several extra pairs of black pants
- At least three clerical shirts (you will need more when the school year begins)
- Black socks
- Comfortable black shoes (bring extra)
- Extra pairs of casual trousers and jeans
- Dress shirts and polo-style shirts
- Hangers (though can be purchased here in the first few weeks)
- Extra white T-shirts, underwear, and socks (these are expensive and hard to find in Rome)
- Sweaters, pullovers, and a light jacket
- Clothes for all seasons (hat, gloves, jacket and sweaters)
- flash drive, CD-Rs, or 3½ ” computer disks
- Transformer and electrical equipment
- Camera
- Sports equipment – glove, tennis racket, swimming wear, shoes, cleats, etc.
- Toiletries – comb, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, etc.
- Towels and bathrobe (sheets and pillow cases for your bed are provided by the College)
- Books
- Checkbook
- Academic files for possible dispensations (See Academic Life)
- Important addresses
- Radio/tapes/CD’s
- Videos (though we also have an extensive collection)
- Light duffel bag for small trips
- Beach towel, trunks, sunglasses
- Musical instrument/art supplies
- Office Supplies, Pens etc (if you have favorites)
- Note paper size is different type A4 rather than 8.5×11”
- School bag or backpack
- Casual clothes – two weeks of orientation
- Shower shoes or flip-flops
- Copies of all vital documents
- Copies of all information normally kept in your wallet (in case of loss)

- Passport
- Your plane ticket (if not electronic)
- Umbrella (can be bought in Rome)
- Travel toothbrush or mouthwash
- Pocket money in Euro and U.S. dollars
- A book or magazine to read on the plane
- Contact or re-wetting solution
- An extra change of clothes in carry-on
N.B. -If you are in doubt about bringing something, bring it. Bring what you need to make you feel at home. Remember you are not taking a trip to Rome, you are moving to Rome.
