DOCUMENTATION:
Two documents are required:

  • A current passport
  • A student Visa – issued by the Italian Consulate in the United States before departure for Rome. This process takes some time and each Consulate Office has different procedures. Call your nearest Italian Consulate Office. You will need a letter from your Ordinary, three photos, our passport and your letter of acceptance from the Casa.

    An Air Flight Service is recomemded. Fedex is most dependable but most expensive. The address should be:

    TIME OF ARRIVAL:
    Orientation Weekend at Casa Santa Maria will be Friday September 22 through Sunday, September 24th. You may wish to be here a few days before that to facilitate University Registration. Please send a letter to the Superior indicating date and time of arrival. If you are coming earlier for language studies write to the Superior with information on the dates and location of your studies

    LANGUAGE PREPARATION:
    The Gregorian University will require an Italian Proficiency test.

    USA Location offering a summer program:

    (An intensive program but housing with college students)

    The Casa will also offer a four week residential beginnersclass starting late August for maximum of 12 students. It will meet for four hours daily at the Casa. Precise dates and cost for lodging and tuition will be available in the Spring.
